finance
- focus on what you need instead of what you want, or else you will be paying for unnecessary things
- look for scholarships, and look into loans
- know those terms for payment for credit cards

asking for help
- ask when you need help!
- talk to someone, talk to anyone
-either educational issues like changing majors or to personal issues you can share with families and friends

So in that class day, in class we had interviewed 2 peer mentors ! one was a girl and one was a boy. i don't remember the girls' name but i remember the guy was named matthew. He wants to become a teacher, and he is majoring in english. He said that he had wish he was more involved in school, after him saying that . That makes me want to join a sorority next year because if i don't school would just be a job and it won't be fun. The interviews were recorded on audacity this free recording software. So patrick had interviewed matthew and Jose had interviewed the girl.

So peer mentors get to get first dibs on classes! lucky ass, that makes me want to come a mentor, but there is a whole way of interviews and getting picked and everything. I don't know if i want to do that do because i am not a very patient person when it comes in tutoring people.

don' cheat & procrastinate
- you may pass a test by cramming but at the end that does not benefit you, you won't learn anything
-college is all about studying.studying.studying
- plus you paid too much to just be sitting and learning about nothing

budget your money
- dont be tempted on those credit cards
- don't eat out everyday
- find ways to stretch that dollar

Get to know your academic adviser

This is who you should go to for help with conflicts in adding or dropping a class. and scheduling classes in the future. They know more then anyone else, and have been around long, so they can help. always ask them questions !

Get involved on campus.

a lot of kids seem to be homesick don't feel like they belong. But away to get over that is to join something ! like a club, sport or sorority or a fraternity . Those are easy ways to learn and make new friends !
